Cleaning Instructions for Fireplaces

You will need an air compressor or you can purchase the small cans of compressed air at your local retailer.  No more than 30 psi.

1- Remove the front screen.

2- Remove the logs; wipe them off with a damp cloth or blow them off with your compressed air.

3- With your compressed air start at the front part of the burner and blow out all the holes working your way to the back part of the burner where you will see the oxygen hole where you will blow into the hole for cleaning, until  It is free of debris. (Figure 1& 2)

4- With your compressed air blow out the ODS by blowing down through the pilot tube.

5- About 2" down the pilot tube you will see the air inlet hole blow it out going back and forth several times. This air hole must be cleaned and free of any debris. (Figure 3)

6- Replace the logs; Refer to your Owners Manual for proper logs placement. If not done properly could cause improper burning operation.

7- Return the screen to the original position.

8- Follow the Owners Manual for lighting instructions.

Note: If all the oxygen holes aren't clean you may experience performance problems. One spider web can stop the gas flow.
